Our last Photo Café of the season ended on a high note and we were so happy to see the turnout and meet some new faces. The topic was focused on how to create a more equitable industry through diversity, opportunity, visibility, education and mentoring. It was an enlightening discussion joined by photographers, educators and curators: Ariana Faye Allensworth (photographer and educator at International Center of Photography), Richard Akuson (Founder of A Nasty Boy and creative producer), Jai Lennard (photographer and Founder of Color Positive) and photographer, Christian Rodriguez a NYCSalt alumni and documentarian.
Grateful to have everyones support in this talk and big thank you to Seeing Collective (Megan Mack, Sina Basila, Fiona Szende and Lanna Apisukh) for your hard work in producing these engaging discussions and building community. We are excited for more events to come in the fall. Stay tuned for programming updates on that!
In the meantime, enjoy some shots below courtesy of Lanna Apisukh. Video of the talk coming soon!
