Who should take this class?
Intermediate shooters with an interest in exploring creative night photography and low-light photography
What you will learn
When darkness falls, you don’t have to put your camera away and go home. In fact, some of our favorite artists have exploited the otherwordly look of night photography and so can you. In this workshop, you’ll make fast friends with your tripod and the B (bulb) setting on your camera, pushing your idea of “available light” to its limits. For this special edition of Night Vision, we'll meet by the 79th Street D line subway stop you'll get straight to shooting in the magical holiday spectacle that is Dyker Heights in December.
What to bring
You camera and tripod are necessary. If you don't have a tripod, please contact us to request a tripod to borrow (limited supply). A remote shutter release or cable release is optional and encouraged.
This class will meet at the Dunkin Donuts (8513 18th Ave) by the 18th Ave D train.
