Brooklyn-based artist Matthew Jensen is drawn to careful observations of the landscape around him. During his travels on buses, airplanes, or on foot, he uses these journeys as an opportunity to capture photographs and gather found materials that become the basis for more photographs. A collection of his work from a few different series is currently on view at the Yancey Richardson Gallery in New York.
Don't miss the last few days to see Jensen's exhibition "Feels Like Real" through June 20, 2015. Or see more on his website at jensen-projects.com.
And remember to look for inspiration around you on your journeys this summer. Keep that camera ready!
