This special edition intro class is for teens and tweens aged 11-16. Please contact us if your student falls outside this age range.

Description

Over 8 weeks we'll be covering all the basics of photography from how to control your camera, understanding what light is doing, as well as using lenses and composition techniques.  Using fun and engaging exercises to build understanding, we'll combine interactive classroom learning with camera work and tons of creative ideas.

Digital Photo I is a goal-oriented process. Students will learn how to use these skills towards their favorite type of photography and work to perfect their craft by creating a series of final images. We'll discuss, print, and exhibit these photographs in a Student Show at the completion of the course.
