Fall Karaoke Party!

karaoke_sign.jpg

Now that fall is in full effect and we’re spending more time in the warm indoors, we’d like to make it more exciting by bringing our friends and members together for a super fun evening of KARAOKE!

The evening will be hosted by Justin Lin at BKC (736 Bushwick Ave) on Saturday, November 16th (7pm – late).

Food and drinks will be provided and we’ll be lighting up the BBQ, but feel free to bring something to share with the community or throw on the grill. The more, the merrier!

This gathering is open to anyone and everyone is invited. Bring your friends/loved ones and start training your vocals soon. We wanna hear your best renditions of “Like A Prayer” and “Bust a Move”!

Got a special song request? Send it ahead to justin@wearebkc.com and we’ll see if we can queue it up!

PHOTO CAFÉ (Free Event): Fairness & Visibility in the Industry

Our next Photo Café talk with Seeing Collective is coming up on Friday, May 24th (7pm – 9pm) at BKC on the topic of Fairness and Visibility. How can we encourage diversity and create equality within the photography industry? What are some ways to give underrepresented people a platform to share their stories and voice? These are just a couple questions that come to mind when thinking about fairness and visibility across the industry and we hope to broach this topic in our next discussion.
