ONLINE CLASS: Please note this class is scheduled for online attendance.  Students will receive their link to join the class 24 hours before the start time.

Description

This 90 Minute Survival Guide powers you past the "Green" Auto Mode and introduces the most essential mechanics for taking better pictures.  The key is to slowly gain control of things like how bright or dark your picture is, reducing blurriness and keeping things in focus.

Using the most current technology, we'll be able to explore the camera's features via a "Thru The Camera" live feed, including all relevant menus and settings, so you'll be able to see how everything works from the ease and safety of your own home.

Who should take this class?

Anyone who would like to quickly improve your shots by gaining Basic Control of exposure and focus.

Things to prepare

Just your digital camera, including DSLR, mirrorless, micro 4/3 systems. If your camera has the option for manual control of aperture, shutter speed and ISO (pretty much all cameras these days) it should be suitable for this class.  Make sure you're all charged up and have a bit of space to move around.  A high-speed internet connection running Zoom on a laptop or desktop computer is recommended.

Prerequisites

No prior knowledge or experience is necessary.
