Join us for our friendly Meet ‘n Greet with Birgit Buchart of Lomography at BKC on Saturday, March 7th from 2pm – 4pm. We’ll use this time to look through some of Birgit’s favorite images she’s made using Lomo’s beautiful film stock and learn about the history of Lomography. We’ll also save some time for YOU to check out some of the latest films, cameras and lenses Lomography has released to date.

It’s the End of the Year, last gasp of the ‘Teens, so let’s get together and celebrate a lot of hard work and daily survival with the ultimate escapist holiday party. DJs to dance to, Karaoke on tap, and tasty hors d’oeuvres by David Kim (come early), we’ll have you forgetting all about whatever it is that’s going on in the world. Join us at our 80’s Catskill retreat as we dance the night away or at least until about 11:30pm.

We are excited to announce that 30 photographers have been selected to exhibit their work at the DISCONNECT Group Photo Show! Thrilled to have partnered with Seeing Collective on this first group gallery exhibition and we hope that you will join us in celebrating all the amazing work that came through open submission.

How can we encourage diversity and create equality within the photography industry? What are some ways to give underrepresented people a platform to share their stories and voice? These are just a couple questions that come to mind when thinking about fairness and visibility across the industry and we hope to broach this topic in our next discussion.
