Portraits

I’m a portrait photographer that creates a mixture of editorial and storytelling content. I focus on capturing the natural beauty of people. My work highlight the emotions, experiences, and reality of people I photograph. Most of my recent projects include photographing a beautiful Mexican dancer who uses clothes to express her identity. I hope through my artwork, you can see a little bit of how I see the world.

About Jazmin

Jazmin is an Indigenous photographer who documents her experience through rich and colorful portraits. Most of her work focuses on her experience as an immigrant woman living in Brooklyn and various states. Her work attempts to unravel the hidden realities of life that many individuals face because of their skin color, race, gender, sexual orientation, and nationality. She examines and expresses her emotions through black & white and warm photography without alteration. Through her work, she hopes to transmit a forgotten history, resistance, and community solidarity.
